Después que Harry y Meghan, los duques de Sussex decidieran dar un paso atrás a sus titulos de ‘seniors’ y hacer vidas independientes de la realeza, todo cambió.
Ahora no solo no podrán ser llamados ‘su alteza’ ni utilizar sus títulos, porque no representan a la reina, sino que Harry ya fue reemplazado por su hermano William, quién realizará las tareas que hacia Harry, además representará a la reina Isabel publicamente.
Con este titulo de Lord High Commissioner to the General Adsembly of the Church of Scotland, es que, el príncipe representará a Isabel II en la asamblea general de la iglesia de Escocia.
Mientras Harry y Meghan siguen acomodándose como personas ‘casi normales’ los contratos le siguen llegando.
Su renuncia
Via a statement the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said:
“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment. We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.
